We were very excited when we heard that the Wishes Dessert Party had been extended through the holiday season so that we would get to enjoy one on our upcoming trip. When we made our ADR's that was on our list of must do's and when booking we were able to get a spot for our group on 12/1 at 8:45. Being just a little over a week out from our trip now I was going through and doing some checks of park hours and planning some final details when I noticed that the Magic Kingdom was set to close at 7:00 the night of our Dessert Party. I checked further and sure enough there is a MVMCP set for that night, which we weren't planning on buying tickets for. Mind you when we booked it for that night, we were never told there was a hard ticket event that evening that a ticket would have to be purchased seperately for. Now, of course it's too close so every other night that isn't a MVMCP is sold out. I've talked to Disney Dining twice now and explained to them the situation hoping that something could be done to work us in to any other night or even comping tickets to MVMCP as the mix up is the fault of their booking. Both times I've been told there is nothing that they can do as the other nights are full and they don't comp any tickets. I hate it because everyone in our group was so looking forward to the Dessert Party and it's a shame we will miss it. Anyone have any advice on anything else that could be done?
