So I'm not sure if this is the right spot for this or not - please excuse me if it isn't!
I have found myself missing WDW lately. As I'm sure we all do.
So last night, I thought I would see what ADR's were open for tonight (10/7). I was like.. Ooh, wonder where I could eat? Now let's see, what would I get?! I thought it would be fun for all of us to pick a restaurant (maybe see what's available each day? Or throw a random one in there that wouldn't be available for obvious reasons such as it's < 24 hours in advance)!
We'll find an ADR for this evening, and everyone has to choose their meal! There are no restrictions. Money is no object for us tonight
I will try to choose one appetizers, one entree, one drink and one dessert.
If you'd like to play along, tonight we are "dining" at Yachtsman Steakhouse @ 7:50 PM.
Here is what I would get:
Appetizer: Lobster bisque, $12
Drink: Probably a Diet Coke, or a glass of white wine.
Entree/Sides: I would want to try something new, but last time I was there I had a seriously amazing meal. I would again get the 12 oz NY strip, with the Point Reyes Blue Cheese Butter (that is on the 16 oz boneless rib eye). Last time I had the white cheddar twice baked potato. This time, maybe I'll try the sauteed mushroom caps.
Dessert: Pumpkin Cheesecake - Cranberry Compote and Gingersnap Ice Cream - $11.00
(I have never had it.. sounds so good!)

What a fun thread. I've never eaten at the Hollywood Brown Derby, so what a treat to join you.
