Hello,
I'm currently doing my itinery for our October 2013 holiday, and I'm getting ready to call and make some ADR's.
I am definitely going to book our Character Breakfast at Contemporary Resort, T-Rex restaurant at Downtown for one evening, dinner with OSO at Hollywood & Vine, and also maybe a romantic meal for hubby and I at one of the AKL restaurants as we were supposed to honeymoon there and it all got cancelled due to hurricanes and we ended up staying at Coronado Springs instead but that's a whole other story! LOL! Anyway...my question is, should we also make our ADR now for Rainforest Cafe too as we're likely to head there once AK shuts and I think it might be busy.
Also, can anyone recommend a romantic restaurant for DH and I if we decide not to dine at an AKL restaurant?
Thanks
Karen

My vote for a romantic dinner would be Bluezoo at the Dolphin or Narcoossee at the GF. Although I love Jiko at AKL! Have a lovely time.

I would recommend either Artist Point or the Yachtsman for a romantic meal. Both are signature restaurants but worth every cent!

Just an FYI Oso is only at breakfast and lunch. There are no characters at H&V dinner.

For a romantic meal I would pick Artist Point, Yachtsman or Naccoossees :thumbsup2

Thanks, I will check all these restaurants out.
Yes, I know about no OSO at H&V for dinner. :sad1: Am gutted as the boys love him, and Manny and Jake.

What about making an ADR for Rainforest at AK? Is it necessary do you think, esp. as we plan to go when the park closes.

I would if you def want to eat there as you never know if lots of others have the same idea.

We loved JIKO's and went there for my BIG birthday last year! Really enjoyed it and thinking of going again this year.:)

If you deffo want to eat at RC then I would book it just in case. We want to do the opposite to you and have breakfast there before we enter the park. I know it wont be busy but I will book just to be certain we will get a table :)

We have just made a reservation for AK Rainforest Cafe for our trip in October. The kids love it there so I wanted to make sure we got one in advance otherwise they would be really disappointed!

Hi Karen,
I am going in October and I have already made my ADRs for the Rainforest Cafe to avoid disappointment. I would make them and then if you change you mind, you can always cancel - as long as it's 24 hours in advance.
Also - for a romantic dinner - it's a little trip out but the Colombia in Celebration is an absolute must and it can be followed by a romantic walk around the most quaint little town you have ever seen in your life!
Hope you have a great trip - when are you there and where are you staying? :wizard:

We're flying out on 12th on the Dreamliner (hopefully! LOL!) upgraded seats to Premium! :cool1:

We are staying for 3 weeks, at Vista Cay Resort.
We've booked a Condo privately.

How about you?
When/where are you going?

If you can't get an ADR through Disney, you can call RC directly. I've done that before when Disney didn't have my preferred time available.
