I have a Feb week long vacation, currently with 2 split reservations and 1 more on wait list. Aka, 1st 3 nights in AKL, 2nd reservation for 1 night in BCV and the last 3 nights waitlisting in BCV.

What's the best strategy to book BOG? I believe in this scenario I can only book 180+3 for my 1st reservation, and on 180+ day try again. Should I call reservation and have them link up my 1st 2 reservations?

And should I just book any resort for the last 3 nights now, in order to be able to book 180+7? What happened when my waitlist opens up, and I move? Will they cancel my BOG?

Online on the 180D mark of 1st reservations @ 6am EST, you will be able to make reservations for 4 days (check-in day counts). You may call by phone @ 7am EST to book ADRs for the remaining days. Once you give dining CM your info, they will see your stay. This is what I did for our split stay last month. Also, if DVC member, you can call MS for dining reservations for your days. This would be my last choice since 407.939.DINE opens before DVC MS.

Since your reservations are DVC & different resorts, you cannot link reservations. You will have multiple reservation numbers. Only make reservation changes through DVC.

Waitlist, I'm not sure since never done a waitlist. Hopefully someone will reply here. Also, check out DVC Member Service thread for info. I would hope ADRs would stay linked, but not sure if you get new reservation number from waitlist.

I hope this helps. Good luck!pixiedust:

Thanks. That's helpful. What happen when I cancel my original reservation and switch to a different resort? I believe I'll get a new reservation #. Will my ADR get cancelled?

No, ADR's are not linked to resort reservations.
