We are planning to visit MK on a day that Mickeys No So Scary Halloween party is happening but we don't plan to go to (or buy tickets for) the party. Can I still book ADR on this night, even after 7pm?
Can I add a question to this? Right now BOG is only showing dinner hours of 4-6pm on party evenings while we are there. Will they likely extend those hours at some point or does BOG typically close at 6 on party evenings.
UPDATE: Disney just released a slew of openings for BOG AFTER 7pm. Until today, they were only taking ADRs before 7pm. What if my ADR is at 6:55 and I do not plan on attending MNSSHP? Will they let us keep our ADR or will they turn us away?

I know I snagged one too! But it's right at 7pm. I wonder if we get there earlier if they will let us in and then we can leave the park as soon as dinner is over?
There's been many released this morning for Sept 22. In fact, there's still some available. But i'm hoping I can just check in around 6:30 and make a case for it and beg for mercy.
Bad news... I called Disney again, spoke with cm- she told me go ahead, go 15 mins early and they will let you in. Then I told her what I am reading on the Dis and is she sure? She put me on hold got a manager and came back with the I am sorry voice. NO CAN DO-
7 pm and after need a ticket. They didn't have any 6:45 or 6:55 ressies either. She told me I can chance it going 15 mins early, but may get a cranky CM and not get dinner and get charged. This whole thing is really dumb.
WOW! Score one for the Dis board! Well, I will try to snag an earlier ressie, but if I don't I'm going to show up 30 min earlier. I've done this maybe 10 times and have ALWAYS gotten in early. Hopefully it pays off this time too. Good luck to you!
Just looked at a few dates ..they now show some times as a special ticketed event from 7-8 on a lot of MNSSHP nights
I have my ADR for 6:10 on the 31st and was worried about being rushed out by 7..looks like I will take my time now
Not sure what nights you all are going but I watch the scanner sites. DDA has a BoG for 6:50pm on October 22 for a party of three. That looks like the only dinner res at BoG for the whole month (lots of breakfast though). You could also try scout or buddy to help you get the ADR you want.

BOG will not let you check in any more than 15 minutes early. We showed up, for ours, about 30 minutes early, and they refused to check us in. 15 minutes or less is their policy. From what I have read, they can (and have) turned people away who have 6:50, 6:55, and 7:00 ADRs. And then, just icing on the cake, will charge you a no show. They are getting really strict with party nights and for those who do not have tickets. Their ADRs must be 6:45 or earlier.
Take your time. Enjoy your dinner. Just know that you will have a personal escort out of the park after dinner is over. LOL. It's almost like a game of Monopoly. "Go straight to the gate. Do not pass GO (a bathroom). Do not collect $200 (shopping)."
No problem with the escort, I have tickets to the party and just wanted to relax at my meal and then come out to the party. I just didn't want to be there as they are closing.
They will let you check-in for a reservation no later than 6:55pm without a MNSSHP ticket (this is stated on the Disney Dining webpage), but as soon as the clock strikes 7pm, the coach turns into a pumpkin.
