ADR day this Sunday ...... UPDATE ..... last update for today

So my 180 day is Sunday and I thought I'd give MDE a go yesterday and today at 11:15 and see if I could snag anything for BOG an the V&A chefs table for as far as the calendar would go as I'm not at 180 days just yet. Anyway on both days I go an error messages saying that there was something wrong and it was not possible to search for reservations ....... Now I'm getting worried for Sunday as I've got 18 TS ADRs to book and on my wish list is BOG dinner for a MNSSHP night and the V&A chefs table for DH birthday

Hope it goes OK this morning Try using a laptop or desktop where possible. I find the app can be hit or miss. But if you experience any problems then just call.

Don't worry about V&A. BoG is the tricky one.

I couldn't get the dining to work at all! I had to do it on my ipad in the end. My advice is do dummy runs on every device you have and then use the one that works (only one of my three devices let me book anything - very frustrating!)

I ended up having to use safari on the ipad - the app wouldn't let me search and explorer was throwing up "server busy" error messages. It took me half an hour to make 5 reservations - last year it took less than five minutes!

So logged into MDE at 10:58 on my laptop and managed to sort out

I can't get the system to give me any dates for V&A chef's table or a Hollywood and Vine Fantastmic package. It gives me the strange odd error of "finder.det" in the place where you select a time. So right now I'm waiting for noon so I can ring up and see what they can do over the phone. I've also got to ring up about the Flying Fish reservation as you can only book up to parties of 6 anything over you have to ring up directly. I booked a size 6 table so I'm hoping they will be able to modify that to a size 8 table.

Anyways fingers crossed that I'll be able to report back soon with a full sucess story

How did you get on by phone? I actually thought that the F! packages and V&A Chef's Table could only be done over the phone (?)

Looks like you did very well with your bookings. Did you get the times you wanted too?

So do you now roll over into the one day at a time zone for the last ones? What else do you still need to get?

So I've now got an ADR for Hollywood and Vine Fantasmic package. All that's left to do today is to try and get through to V&A (it keeps going through to VM as it's busy) and then call the Flying Fish just before I go to bed to try and get them to modify my ADR from 6 people to 8 people.

I just tried a dummy booking for H&V fantasmic package and it won't let me book any date past 4th July.. Is there a different timescale for booking this ?

I just called them Tony. Online it wouldn't let me pick any date or any restaurant for a Fantasmic package. I called them up and booked it over the phone without any problem. As Lee said maybe it's just something you can't do online

Whoo Hoo just got the Victoria & Albert's main dining room changed to the Queen Victoria room and we are waitlisted for the Chef's Table

I had problems initially when I tried to book the F! package online (using browser on my tablet). It would only give me to mid-May (but I was 180 days out from August!) When I got home and got on my laptop, I could book it online, no problem. Guess it must be glitchy?

Last thing done for today. I couldn't get The Flying Fish to modify my seating for 6 to seating for 8 at a time I wanted as they seat their large parties at either 5:30pm or 9pm which is totally useless for us. So I called Disney dining back and got them to change my ADR made for 6 people at 7:10pm to a party of 5 and they then made another ADR for the same time for a party of 3.

We'll try and check in on the day about 15 mins early and see if they can get the tables close together.
