ADR cancellaton thread/ December

The only thing you have to be careful about if you give someone your ADR# instead of cancelling that is that if you want to make another reservation for that time they might not let you. I haven't ever had this experience but have heard of it on these boards so I would check on that before you definitely do it.

I have a TON of reservations right now, all at the same time, under my name, phone number, etc. It is allowed, never had anyone tell me I couldn't make another one.

I keep changing them and always cancel them out when I make a new one, but I have three at three different places, for two of our nights, until I figure out exactly which one I want. I even had THREE Candlelight Processional all at the same time.....narrowed that down though. So, it doesn't keep you from making new ones.

Good to know that you can in fact do it, as I'm thinking about a March trip and want to make some ADRs since it's now 180 days, but really can't narrow it down to 1 per meal yet.

Hi, just wanted to say I am one of those people who got a resse canceled.
Sure, I was able to make several, but when I called back one day to double check my #'s.... poof they were gone. and I was told that they automaticly cancel if you have more than one ressie for say, (dinner) on the same day.
Just thought I would share my experience~

I think the key is that ..if you make one ADR at say 5:00 and then try to make another at exactly 5:00....Ive had problems - the CM tries to fill the spot and if she is compentent sees your other ADR....

However I have gotten around this by making say one Ressie for 5:00 and a second for 6:00 - they never seem to call me on this if I stagger the times.

Here's what I just cancelled a little while ago:

12/21 Mama Melrose @ 4:50 for 5 PPL. (not the FDP)
12/22 Chef Mickey's @6:40 for 5 PPL.
12/24 Lunch @ Plaza @ 11:00 AM and dinner @ LTT @ 7:10 for 5 PPL.
12/25 Alfredo's at 5:30 for 5 PPL.

We refined our schedule and got other times that we needed. Also, some FDP seemed to have opened up for that week, so keep trying. Had to take H/V instead of MM but too afraid of the crowds to risk it!

I just got off the phone with a CM who told me that they have a CP on 12/3 for Le Cellier - I was asking about an ADR for 4 people. It is one of the later Candlelight Processional shows so I couldn't use it...but maybe one of you can?!!

I will be cancelling LTT for Dec 15 party of 3 at 5:30 before MVMCP. Our airline cancelled our flight so will be arriving the next day and doing that party. PM me if you are interested and we can arrange a time to call.

Okay, I messed up! I've been planning on booking Lunch with an Imagineer for ages and today was my day to call, except that when I called I realized that it was actually yesterday...

Well, bottom line, I needed 2 spots and they only had 1 left. So if anyone is cancelling Lunch with an Imagineer at the Brown Derby at MGM on Friday, December 2, pretty please, please let me know!

Everyone who has posted their cancellations, THANKS! Because of you I was able to get Le Cellier with CP for the exact date and time I wanted!!!! How exciting is that!

Because of this, I have just cancelled Chef's de France for a party of 5 on 12/4 with CP at 8:15pm should anyone need it!!
