ADR cancelation policy??/

What if I change my mind about a reservation or we end up just too tired to go. Can I cancel?

It depends on whether they took a credit card number for the reservation.

If they did, then you have to cancel more than 48 hours before in order to not be charged a penalty.

If they didn't, you can cancel at any time.

Please cancel as soon as you know you won't be dining, to give others the opportunity to dine.

If they took your c/c #, then they also told you the time frame for cancelling (either 24 or 48 hours usually).
If no c/c was required, you can cancel whenever. But, as PP said, please do cancel as soon as you know you are not going to use the ADR. It frees up spots in the WDW sysytem for others to use.
