ADR - Big FYI

Whoever is traveling around my dates 8/23-8/30 - for whatever reason, my TA was able to put in my ADR's TODAY even though my 90-day mark is 5/24. I was able to get most of what I was looking for. A few times had to be shifted by minutes. One was way off, and have to rebook somewhere else! They are filling up quickly...

I'm traveling August 28 thru September 7. My TA was able to book my first two days of dining today......

Great for you two, but it doesn't give me much hope for the online dining system! Your dates should be May 30th and May 25th, respectively for your 90 day window.

Looks like another Disney IT success story ...

Looks like it's 100 days out for onsite guests and not 90+10 like they tell us. Very interesting...

I'm checking in 8/23 also, just called and was told I couldn't make dining reservations until 5/25, which is 90 days. I'm not sure how your agents were able to get around the 90 days.

That's great for you two! But I am dreading making my own ADRs next month. I'm hoping the new rules and the confusion will be worked out by then!

I called to move up my trip yesterday and then was told to call Saturday for my ADRS for August 21st. I just wish they were consistent for everyone.

I just called and tried to get ADR for 23-30 August and the CM told me to call back on May 25th!

Same here. Whenever I miss count by 1 day they tell me call back tomorrow when it is the 90 day mark.

From what my TA said, there are still glitches in the system. I was fortunate to get my ADRs. Everything seems to be filling up quickly. I wanted an ADR for 'Ohana for between 5 and 6 p.m., and wasn't able to get one until 8:55 p.m. Naturally, I had to scrap that one. My kids would be sound asleep in their noodles.

This is just beyond frustrating. I am arriving 8/23-30 also & as soon as I saw this msg. I called also. Was told no, have to call back on 8/25 & that NOONE can access the system to make ADR's before their 90 day date. I kept telling the CM that the TAs were doing it, must be a glitch in a system I told her. She kept saying "not possible".

I am so frustrated w/this whole thing. I am so worried about not getting the times/places that I want. I've already told dh I'm not spending days on the phone trying to switch things around. If I have to to, I'll just cancel my trip & tell Disney they need to fix the dining issues.

Hasn't something along these lines been posted before, that the TA system is allowing bookings 100 days out with a resort number? It seems like the system isn't properly "understanding" the 90+10. Kind of sucks for those of us who book our own trips, though, since it is only working for TAs and not by calling.

I called yesterday for our Aug 18 to Sept 1 trip and made ressies up to the 28th. 90 + 10 ... argh.

From 7am I tried and finally made the ressies at 11:30 ... long morning, the computers were down.

The recording said they were accepting ressies up to and including Aug 28.

[edit] I have to call May 31, June 1 and June 2 to make the other 3 ADRs.

I really do feel bad for everyone who can't book their ADRs. I am sorry I opened up a can of worms. When I posted, I assumed that anyone traveling with my dates could book. I didn't realize it was a guest vs. TA problem. They really should fix this mess. If I hadn't decided to go with a TA, I would be upset, too, right now...

You would really cancel your whole trip based on dining or lack there of???

I am a TA and based on this thread....called for a couple of my clients yesterday afternoon. I got a great, friendly CM and we chatted. Then he told me that I was calling too soon (I already knew this of course) and that the day I could book for them is 5/29 - which is 90 days.

I might try again today if other TA's are having success, but just so you know - it is not everyone.
