We are staying off site for the first part of our trip but only planning a handful of ADRs so we're not too tied down with the kids. I have been trying for a pre park opening breakfast at CP for 25/8 since 11am this morning and it just keeps giving me 9.10am and nothing else. There is plenty of availability for an 8am ish ADR for earlier in the week but 25/8 is our MK day and I'd rather not change. We get into Orlando at 3.35pm on 23/8 and have planned Epcot for the 24th but just in case I can't get an 8am ADR for 25/8 I have booked 8.15am for 24/8 at CP. If I keep this and change our plans around would you think the kids would be too tired to do much on our first morning? Or does anyone know a reason why theres been zero earlier ressies available since it opened at 11?

the opposite - they will be buzzing the first morning - tired the first afternoon/evening
they will be up at 5am most likely.
you can always do breakfast at CP - do a few walk ons and then move over to epcot for FP+s ?

Might be a glitch, I had terrible trouble with making ADRs yesterday. We did book CP though 27th and although I went for 9.10am, it was giving me 8.35am as well I think. Maybe try over the phone and see if you can get a different time?

First morning you're always up super early, because of the time difference/jetlag so I think 8.15am will be fine. Last trip I was up by 6am the morning after we arrived and I expect the same to happen this year!

Thanks for the feedback :-) Maclondon that might just work you know! I just hate the thought of re-working our entire plans. NatalieMT I can see an 8.35am ADR available now but its still a bit late to get food and meet characters and be ready to go for 9am even if (on the off chance!) they seated us early. For now I'll hang onto the ADR I have for the 24th and keep an eye to see if I can get it any earlier. I remember going with our eldest when he was 14 months and he woke at 3am, played with me, had a bath (kids, eh :rolleyes1) and was back asleep by 5am. If either of them were to wake that early they would be wrecked by the ADR time. Its so hard to know with kids!!
