I was reading somewhere about the ADR system changing this year. So, I am confused :confused3 We are going in October of next year. Do I still need to make those ADR 180 days out or will I do them sooner or later now? TIA for any help or information!

they're upgrading the computer reservation system right now, and have delayed the changeover several times already. Last announcement was for January 2009. Right now they're only taking reservation for about 90 days out (through 3/22/2009) except for the very popular CRT, CM and V & A...those you can get at 180 days.

For next October, we sincerely HOPE they have the new system up & running in time for your 180's! That would be in April 2009.

If you want to have 1st choice of where & when you eat, I would suggest you do get reservations, at least if you're wanting the more popular restaurants.

Trying to make June '09 ressie for California Grill, can this be made now? I didn't see it on the short list but is also a hard to get ressie. Any word on when we can make ADR's ourselves online?

You can only make CRT, Chef Mickeys, and Victoria and Alberts 180 days out, everything else is up to 3/22

I say ALWAYS book an ADR at first window of opportunity.

Personally I hope Disney DOES NOT offer public accessibility to set reservations. It would be a nightmare and it is not piece of pie right now. People already make multi reservations they do not keep and it is already way to difficult to get any favorite place unless you call when it first opens up.
I spoke with a CM last evening about our next trip and was told same that a post'r 2/3 ahead of me mentioned, New System and not likely before January. Said he did not think any Public availabilty will be present. Here's hoping not!

there is a sticky thread at the top of the board following/stalking :rolleyes1 this issue

i am going to lock this thread and refer you to the sticky for the most up to date info we have
thanks!
