ADR After Park Closing?

Hey all,

I saw some ADRs available after the park closes. How does this work? If we're using the buses, will we be able to take a bus back, since they usually only run an hour after park closing?

Any info would help.

park hours are likely to change. However, the last ADR of the night won't be stranded. The buses will get you back to your hotel or lot.

Also, what time of the year are you looking at? There are special events where the park will close to general admission and only be open for those who buy tickets to said event. There will be ARs during these hours, but only those with tickets can book them.

As the PP said, they won't strand you at the parks. About an hour after the park closes, they tend to start consolidating bus lines. Meaning you may have to wait longer for the bus to leave the park and it may stop at more resorts that you would normally visit, but they'll get you back to your hotel. If you don't see anyone at the bus stops when you get out there, go to security and they'll help you out.

As LilyWDW mentioned, the parks (primarily MK) do occasionally have special events (e.g., MNSSHP and MVMCP). Some of the TS restaurants are open during these parties and do take ADRs, but you have to have a valid ticket for the special event to be seated during those times. The reservation should note that a special event ticket is required when you make the reservation, but the system is a little buggy and the message doesn't always show up nor do you have to have a ticket in hand to make the reservation. So if you're attending the special event, make sure you reservation is for before the park closes to the general public. Also, some restaurants (mainly Epcot, I think) may take reservations during evening EMH.
