WE got our referral call on Tuesday afternoon.. We have a beautiful 6 month old little boy in Ethiopia. We should be traveling in 3-5 months to bring him home.

Congratulations!!! How exciting to know your little one will be in your arms in 2009! Enjoy every single second of your happiness!!!! Best Of Everything!

Congratulations!!!!! I hope your wait to travel goes by fast and that you are holding your little boy before you know it. You will love Ethiopia. Do you know what area your little boy is from?

Our little guy was born right in Addis Ababa which is convienent since thats where our agencies childrens home is..he is of Oromo background which I don't know much about but that will give me something to do during the wait.

I can't believe it has taken me this long to update, but it has been almost 6 months since T came home!! I can't believe that a year ago we had never even seen his beautiful face before

He is actually 5 years old - I call him my baby, but he gets upset and looks at me very seriously "mommy, I am no baby. I am a big boy!"

Hipchickie, congratulations on your adoption! How wonderful! Kristina was 5 when we adopted her and Ivan was 6.

I haven't posted a picture of my kids recently. I thought I'd share one with those on this thread. Kristina turned 13 in May and Ivan will be 15 next March. I can't believe we used to hold them in our arms, they've gotten so big. Ivan is about 6' tall and Kristina is 5'4". They're still my babies, though.

The photo was taken last month in Punta Cana.

I knew I had read your blog, and are friends on facebook, but I had it in my head I knew you through a yahoo group with families from our adoption agency. I have the memory of a goldfish

Are you planning on taking N to WDW anytime soon?

Back on the dis with a new name Freakylick was actually my husband's that I would sometimes post under. I read so many adoption blogs and have a ton of adoption friends on fb and i can never keep track of who is with what agency haha. We are hoping to take Noah Tamirat to disney in Sept of 2012. He has been to down town disney and was in awe of everything.
