Hopefully between five and seven months. It depends on how fast China processes our dossier.

I hope it goes by really fast for you, and that they're working more on the five month schedule than seven

We got our referral on Thursday! Our baby is 12 weeks old, and living in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. We think she's beautiful. She looks really alert and well nourished.

We are completely thrilled, and can't wait to bring her home!

Wow, that is so exciting! When do you travel to get her? Do you travel to get her? I don't know too much about Vietnam. Care to share the pics

Thanks for the congratulations!!!!

We hope to have her Giving and Receiving Ceremony by March at the latest. Things are a little backlogged over there, but we are hopeful that we can travel in January or February. It seems like FOREVER until then.

I will send you a picture if you PM me- I can't post it publicly yet.

Madelines process is not working out. She is 14 months old today, and NO WHERE near close to coming home. It will be months before we are able to go back into PGN (final court). Even then, who knows if in-process cases will be grandfathered in.

Trying to decide if we should go to Disney.

I am so sorry to hear this. The whole mess in Guatamala is awful. They have to let those babies come home. What are they going to do with all of them otherwise! Were you kicked out of PGN?

I'm so sorry for your troubles. Especially when I've been reminiscing all day about what I was doing 6 years ago today. Right about now, DH and I were sitting at the gate at JFK waiting for our flight to be called so we could leave for Russia.

So sorry to hear about your troubles. We had a horrible failed adoption last winter in Kazakhstan, where we bonded with a child, but--- So I know how hard it can be.

Everything is so up in the air now, I can't even recommend China which has been so "safe" until recently. Even special needs there is more difficult.

We'll be praying for your process. I'm also going to send you a PM.

ALittleDisneyFan- I am so sorry you are going through this. I can't imagine how any of the Guatemala families with referrals are handling this situation. It is such a mess. I will be praying for you and Madeline.

Monami - We have been dealing with the PGN portion since January. We were kicked out of PGN for 25 weeks, no reason or explaination on why it took that long. Then we went in, got kicked out, went in, got kicked out. Now we could be facing anywhere from 2-6 months to fix the problem and then re-enter pgn.
