Admit it! Who is re-gifting?

I regifted a few things but not as much as usual. I mostly got chocolate this year and a lot of people I know are diabetic. The other stuff was so pretty that I wanted to keep it.

There is nothing wrong with re-gifting as long as it's done tastefully. In other words remember to take off the old tag first!! ;)

Blockbuster & Itunes gift cards from work I'm re-gifting to DS15 & DS10.

I'm not regifting anything, but my best friend is regifting to my parents! She got 2 bottles of wine from work and is regifting them along with a pretty wine rack to my parents. I don't think it's tacky at all! :teeth:

I'll admit that I do  I usually get chocolates from friends whom I suspect giving me the chocolates as regifts anyway. I really don't like getting boxes of chocolate because I know I'll eat them all!! So I usually give them to my grandma or my mom's friends

I've done it once. We received two bread machines for our wedding. We kept the better one and put the other one in the closet (couldn't return it). A few years later we gave it to MIL for xmas. I have no idea if she even uses it. She may have even regifted it herself. At least I know she'll never give it back to me. She never gets me anything that nice. :rotfl:

Last week we received our annual Harry & David huge gift set from friends of my inlaws. Last year, there was nice box of apples that my girls ate and I had the nuts and we brought some of the other stuff with us to Christmas dinner. This year there was not a single thing we or our kids would eat in it... so we kept it all beautifully wrapped up and gave it to our friends at their engagement/holiday party last Saturday. Hee hee. We just got another Harry & David set from inlaws yesterday and there is once again nothing we'll eat so not sure what to do with it. What's a nice way to say, hey beautiful present but we won't use it but thank you!?!?

I was going to regift a box of chocolates I got for my Grandmother, but my DH opened it and started eating it already! Oh well!

I regift if I receive something I can't/won't use...several of my "regift gifts" have been perfect for other people :)
