Around here in WI, everytime I hear "Oh, Oh, Oh...." I think "Oh, Oh, Oh, O'Reilly'ssssssssss..........autoparts!" It's a jingle everyone has bouncing around in their brain .....and is a running joke.

haha O'Reilly's is a good place though, darn that tune though it gets in your head so easily.

Soooo I don't like tequila My husband will be enjoying those margaritas though that's for sure! Give me drinks with rum though and I'm down

I am so with you on this!! I hate tequila. Had a REALLY BAD experience in high school with tequila when my friend's grandparents were out of town..... I can't even smell the stuff without getting queasy. I'll take vodka, rum, or gin any day of the week!!!

I do feel like IPA-haters/dislikers are in greater numbers but you have a fair point not liking tequila is an odd ball thing

I must really be an oddball, as I don’t like the taste of alcohol at all. Every beer I have tried tastes like vomit, wine tastes like spoiled food, and hard spirits leave me with a metallic aftertaste that is disgusting and impossible to get rid of. About once every 10-15 years I taste something to see if my palate has changed, but so far, I still hate it all.

I was just pulling your leg. I know the IPA hate is very strong, not just on here. I see it mentioned A LOT on reddit.

I love tequila since there's nothing nicer than a margarita on a super hot day. Now if we can find an alcohol everyone can agree on hating..........Fireball is the grossest alcohol ever made.

True story . . . One day at work, the operations manager needed to call a credit card customer service line to fix a transaction. He sat down, hit speaker phone, and dialed the 1-800 number. At least, he thought he did, until the breathy female voice came on the line. I have never seen anyone go bright red and totally pale all at the same time! Fortunately there were only three of us in the room, him, me, and my coworker, and we never shared the story with anyone else at work. It taught me to never put a phone on speaker until I know I have dialed correctly.

Definitely not the same, but DSis and I got worried about my parents the other night because Mom hadn't answered her phone all day. Totally out of ordinary. We assumed they had gotten run over at Harris Teeter or something.

I decided to call one more time. A man with a thick southern accent answers. Note: my Dad is definitely a Midwesterner. Without thinking I say, "Mom....I mean, Dad???" Dude was like who IS this?

Duh, obviously I had the wrong number, but who did he think I was? Lol and who answers unknown numbers!

Not a tequila fan, don't like whiskey. I stick to gin & vodka for my harder spirits. Occasionally rum.

I really only drink on vacation or at weddings so I have probably a handful of drinks per year at the most. No hard liquor at this point, no beer. Just wine, champagne and cider.

Their lazy river is quite narrow in some areas which makes it congested and feel like a people soup.

I heard from one vlogger that it's a lottery system during the meetups in terms of whether adults can ride Pteranodon Flyers or not. So not everyone can.

That's what DH always says when people crowd in a hot tub!! LOL!!
Ah I see. Good to know, thank you! DH is actually interested in maybe doing Informer.... Have to do some more digging and see if it's worth it for us.

Very true LOL At Universal you can get Butterbeer with an added shot of Fireball (you have to order them separately) and that just grosses me out so much.

Not odd! My brother has described beer similarly and I’ve never been interested personally. I’ve actually never had any type of alcohol ever and I’m almost 30. People always think that’s strange when I tell them.

Can we chat about Universal Orlando? So DH and I were thinking that, one of these Orlando trips we will actually stay at a UO resort for a 3-4 days, go to the parks and also check out Volcano Bay. We have never been to Volcano Bay but looks fun? Has anyone stayed at one of the UO deluxe resorts? I want to try it out especially one of the perks is the unlimited express pass. Is it worth it? Or is it better just tag on the express pass for the day?

Definitely worth it get the deluxe resort for the express passes. They were $300 per person for the one ride each the other day we were at Universal for my son’s jazz band trip. I haven’t personally done it but friends of ours will get a room at say the endless summer resort for their full stay, but also book a one night stay at portofino somewhere in the middle where they have full park days because a one night stay gets you two full days of express pass. They check into the hotel but don’t actually stay there. I haven’t been to volcano bay yet, but I’m not sure if express passes work there if you have a deluxe.

It's not odd really.

Beer isn't for everyone and within beer there's so much you can like and then not like. My husband likes red ales but those taste coppery to me. IPAs are just too hoppy to me. For me though it was my early 20s that I opted to try out more craft style beer. I'm not drinking just to drink, I actually enjoy the flavors into it.

I'm not huge into wine though I do like it every now and then and prefer sweet red to dry red or white.

And for hard liquor there are ones I'm just not into the taste of.

One thing that always struck me is when people say "you have to learn to like the taste of...." and usually they mean beer and that's something they say for why they don't care to drink it. Like IRL who says you have to learn to like the taste of beer? Because if you don't like the taste of beer just don't drink it, I'm not going to judge you for that

Me either!! I divorced Jose Cuervo in college after freshmen year!! I know I know...it's disgusting cheap alcohol but I still don't like most tequila. I will try it when some of our friends/family get good quality tequila.
Rum & vodka are my choice of poison! Love gin in fancy cocktails too!

Oh speaking of cocktails....me and DH new favorite place to have a drink and chill out at WDW....Enchanted Rose at GFlo!

I’m not a fan of butterbeer it’s way to sweet for me. I can have a couple sips but it quickly becomes too much, same for LeFou brew at MK.

I also don’t like tequila. I had a blood orange margarita at la cava in Epcot years ago and then a bit later dinner at garden grill and the slow rotation/tequila combination didn’t agree with my stomach. Haven’t had it since.

So as far as I'm aware, JK Rowling wouldn't let Universal sell an alcoholic Butterbeer, but there's nothing stopping you from buying a Butterbeer, then buying a shot of Fireball and then adding it yourself to make the worst drink ever made.
