It’s a meaty white fish (ugly) and taste a little like lobster. It gets tough and chewy if you over cook it.

We're all checked into our SWA flights to Cancun (annoyingly non-stop is only available on Sat&Sun so we have a connection in Houston) for tomorrow and my husband just completed online check-in for the hotel

We'll have to leave the house about 3am tomorrow for our 5:20am flight so it's going to be an early night..I think I'll have to wake up about 1:45-2am-ish

Oh for Barbie movie I'm totally down for seeing it, maybe not in theaters, but def. willing to see it. I grew up on Barbie and baby dolls. I'm pretty sure I had about 50 Barbie dolls and a few Ken dolls. I had a Barbie house too and a Barbie van. I'm sure the movie is just going to be the one it's so over the top silly that it works.

So for whatever reason aside from two dogs for a while my best friend has continuously had axolotls. She just loves them, they are cute though!

I'm 100% with you on all of this (NC girl). But, a bubbler...that just sounds wrong in so many ways like you said!

On Barbies, DD has all different kinds. She even has some of the "curvier" ones. We were doing our fashion show and she was mad that if they are going to sell "chunky" (her words) Barbies then they need to make clothes that fit her!

I know, kiddo, I know!!

I agree with your little fashionista 100% Why offer the dolls if you aren't going to give them fun outfits? Duh!!!

Yup. It's definitely a buggie. BTW--we also refer to golf carts as buggies.

I still dream about the shrimp scampi at Giovanni's Shrimp Truck in Oahu, Hawaii.... The long lines it gets are 100% worth it.

My husband just told me he wants to visit Hawaii later this year to dive. I remember visiting Giovanni's when we were on Oahu when he learned to dive. It was delicious!

I feel like I'm the only person on the planet who has a child who does NOT LIKE HARRY POTTER. At all. She has zero desire to go to UO. Which I'm ok with or the most part since I don't love crazy coasters, but I want her to like HP!

Funny thing is, she does not want me to read the books without her She doesn't want to read them/listen to them. But she wants to suck my joy in the process HA HA HA!

When my mom and I went to London we did the Harry Potter studios tour. I really wanted to see it after reading the books and seeing all of the movies with my boys, but I wasn’t sure if my mom would be that into it. She absolutely loved it!! I have pictures of her in front of platform 9 3/4 with the biggest smile on her face. She did one of the other green screen scenes. It ended up being one of the best days of the trip.

Which bring me to another topic. What do ya'll call a "the plumbing appliance usually attached to a wall that you drink water from?" We always called it a water fountain. Here in WI, they call it a bubbler. ACK! to me, a bubbler sounds infected

You'll get used to it. It took me years but we call it a "bubbler" now.

I just got home from my bowling night. So now you know. I am an old school crazy gal. Anyone else bowl?

I LOVE bowling, sadly, NO ONE in my friends group nor my wife ever seem interested in going ...

Is bowling considered old school now?! Whaaat?!! I want to say the Bowlero around here and it seems pretty poppin Fri/Sat nights. I love bowling too!

I only remember the 900 Numbers that you could call and speak to someone named "bunny" ...

In the U.K. true scampi is made from monkfish.

That's very interesting!! I wonder why though? I will remember that when I go to the UK I can't order scampi! I had monkfish before....not a fan!

Happy Easter to everyone that celebrates. Small dinner today as we have extended family coming in next weekend.

Here, we call it a hose.

We used to bowl about once a week when the boys were growing up. I haven’t bowled in years now.

I’m working on my wardrobe for my trip. I’ve decided to go with Disney tees and shorts mostly. I’ll bring a few dresses since we’re going to do some nicer restaurants in the evening.

We went last summer and I loved Kauai the best of the islands we visited (Oahu, Maui and Kauai). We were there during the historic waves and it was so cool watching all the surfers out catching them.

Can we chat about Universal Orlando? So DH and I were thinking that, one of these Orlando trips we will actually stay at a UO resort for a 3-4 days, go to the parks and also check out Volcano Bay. We have never been to Volcano Bay but looks fun? Has anyone stayed at one of the UO deluxe resorts? I want to try it out especially one of the perks is the unlimited express pass. Is it worth it? Or is it better just tag on the express pass for the day?
