I am tempted to reserve 2 rooms at the DLH when we go on vacation next month. There are 5 of us and will be going back to the hotel mid day for naps and a break from the crowds... I think it would be nice to put the boys down for a nap and not worry about waking them if we want to watch / TV talk etc.... not to mention 2 bathrooms to get ready and change in the morning would be nice!! I have been checking the travel sites and some rooms are opening up.... I know I need to jump fast if I want to reserve and hope to do that tomorrow... but I am curious... will they guarantee you adjoining rooms? If they can't do that I won't reserve.... they are closed now or I would call and ask....

Sorry for the long question!!! :confused3 Thanks in advance!!

They will not GUARANTEE any room location or type, it is only a request. Chances are if you explained that it's with two little ones, they would and it's rare that people don't get it, but it does happen.

Just so you know. There is a difference between "Connecting" rooms and "Adjoining" rooms. Connecting rooms have a door between so you can go back and forth, which sounds like what you want. Adjoining rooms are just next to each other with no door in between. When you make your reservations, you need to be specific as to which you want.

Thanks for the tip!! You are correct I want connecting rooms!! Has anyone made this req and NOT received it?

Thanks again!!

We have had interconencting rooms requested twice, no problem either time and they are really worthwhile. Also - this time (June) they gave us a choice of new theme rooms to try. We took the Mickey Mouse option - that's one regular room, with an interconnecting room decorated in a Mickey theme - two twin beds etc. They are trialling these, so it was offered to us , rather than booked, and the kids loved it!
