Has anyone here had any luck with getting adjoining rooms with DVC points on the cruise?

Yes we have. The first crusie we ever went on three years ago we did with DVC points and we had two connecting Cat 6 rooms. It was during a busy time of the year too. But we did reserve right at 11 months.

I'm not sure if you mean adjacent rooms or connecting rooms. Adjoining means adjacent, but people often use adjoining to refer to connecting.

Adjacent rooms (that is, rooms that are simply next to each other) should be easy to get a 11 months.

Connecting rooms (that is, rooms that have a connecting door) should still be possibile at 11 months in most categories that have them, but there are far fewer pairs of connecting rooms than there are rooms that are merely adjacent.

Another factor is how many people you'll have in each room. Some pairs of connecting rooms hold 3 in each room; others hold 4.
