Don't know if anyone else has noticed this...but I almost got caught until I studied it carefully. I have a ressie booked for a premium (at a great rate) thru Avis. I really would like to switch to a minivan, but will wait till later deals come out.
In any case, I thought I had found a better deal thru another company...until I found out they charge $5 a day for a second driver, even a spouse. Avis doesn't charge for a spouse. What seemed like a better deal turned out to be more expensive. DH does most of the driving when we travel...I take care of the booking. This really matters when you tally up the cost.
