Well, our trip was for my 50th birthday and our wedding anniversary is on the 15th, so I had requested a boardwalk view with a balcony. Before anyone flames me, I know nothing is guaranteed, but when we checked in we were put in the corner room at the BWI right at the neon sign for the Flying fish restaurant, so not only did we have a pink light flashing in the window but it also had a large tree in front of it. On top of that the balcony was one of the tiny ones that only one person can get on. I went downstairs to see if there was anything else available, and the first CM was "earning his ears" and he did not seem to know how to handle it. He was telling me there was a charge for room changes, etc. when a seasoned CM walked up and asked if she could help. I told her I was not upset, but I was just disappointed. She told me she would check to see. There was nothing for that night, but she said we could change the next morning. I was concerned because we were supposed to go to Clearwater the next day and I was afraid if she was not there things would get mixed up. She assured me to go have a good time and just stop by the next evening to pick up our new keys when we got back from Clearwater. I did and I was thrilled when I opened our room door. We were on the 3rd floor one room over from the Spoodles sign directly over the boardwalk with a balcony large enough for 4!! Our room was huge!! We could see the entire boardwalk from our balcony. I also wanted to thank the CM that I booked the ressie with. On our 3rd night there, I got an envelope slipped under the door with a certificate to have a magical time for our anniversary and a signed photo of Mickey and Minnie! I booked this room back in September and it still made it to me. I was impressed!!
