Additional Events at an Intimate Wedding

Hello all,

We recently made the difficult decision to switch from a Custom wedding to an Intimate wedding in January 2007. We hadn't signed our contract yet so Disney was okay with the switch. We are not sure if all our relatives are okay with it though. Obviously we will only be allowed 18 guests at the wedding itself and we were considering a dinner for anyone who chooses to come for after the ceremony (in-state relatives, etc). Does anyone have any ideas for other non-wedding events they had for their guests? I just don't want anyone think they're traveling a far distance for "just a dinner."

Finances are definitely an issue and was in fact the determining issue in changing to an Intimate, so as nice as the Illuminations dessert parties sound, I'm not sure that's an option.

Any ideas or advice would be appreciated. Thanks
