Adding tickets day before arrival

If i add our tickets to room only the day before arrival will i still get the package extras at check in? We went to the Disney Quest for the first time on our last visit and our vacation packet had the freebie pass in it. We would like to go again & that saved us quite abit.

Only if you convert your room-only reservation to a package -- which will essentially require cancelling the room-only and paying in full for the package. You can purchase tickets separate without it being a package. The "extras" are only available on a package.

As lanejudy said, if you want the package extras such as DQ admission you have to book a package, but adding tickets to a room only reservation doesn't make it a package. You would have to cancel the room only res and book a package with full payment at time of booking.

One possible problem - the deadline for cancelling a room only res without a penalty is 5 days in advance of arrival. The penalty is forfeiture of your deposit. I don't know if the penalty is waived if you book a package at the same time. Something to look into if you decide to do a last minute package.

Thanks I never thought anything about the cancellation deadline. I will give them a call tomorrow to see what they say.
