Adding park hopper on current tickets

The actual ticket price would have been about the same (right now, a 2 day ticket is about $5 less if you buy from UT,) but the price would be bridged if you had bought them from UT.

Gotcha. We were not anticipating hopping. Doubt we will now anyways- it's too much.

I'm in the world right now, staying at VWL, went down this afternoon to upgrade our tickets to parkhoppers and the front desk told it would be almost $500 for 4 people. Another person standing inline said he was told the same yesterday. We booked as part of a package via a disney travel agent. Not sure if the guy was entering something wrong or not but I wasn't sure it was worth it at $250, it certainly wasn't worth $500.

So many CMs don't know what they are doing with ticket upgrades.

Do the upgrade at a ticket booth or Guest Relations at a theme park.

From whom did you purchase the tickets?
Were they part of your WDW resort package?
Under most conditions, you should USE the tickets at least one time to enter a theme park
BEFORE you do the upgrade.

We, on this board, can tell you exactly what the cost of your upgrade should be so that you'll know if the CM is doing the correct upgrade procedure for you.
But to help you, we need to know exactly what tickets you have and from whom you bought them.
