Adding our son to our reservation...

I posted before that we are adding our son to our reservation at the Pop when we arrive. Will they give him a Magic Band when we add him to the reservation or should I just buy him one? I have added his ticket to my MDE so we have his fast passes booked. Just didn't know if they would give him a Magic Band when we arrive or not.
