We're not sure if our DS's girlfriend is going with us, so I don't know whether to try to make a CP package ADR for 3 or 4. Would it be be easier to add or drop a person, or is neither possible? I don't want to pay the entire amount for a no show, but we also wouldn't eat w/o her, if she is there. That way, we'd be paying the full amount for 3 no shows. Have any of you tried to add or drop a person in the past? Naturally, this will be a moot point, if nothing becomes available at this late date. Any input will be very much appreciated. :flower3:

I think dropping a person would be easier. Just do it by the deadline (48 hrs I think) so you're not charged a penalty.

I know folks have had luck adding a 4th person to a party of 3 at the podium, but I think it might be different in the case of CP since there is priority seating to an event involved.

We did the CP Package a few years ago. There weren't any reservations available for the restaurant/time we wanted (Le Cellier, first show), so the CM suggested we just make the rezzie for 3 instead of 2 and say at the podium that someone couldn't make it.

That said, you'd be getting the same table for a party of 3 vs. a party of 4, so in all actuality it shouldn't matter *too* much.

Anyway. I'd go ahead and make it for 4 just to be on the safe side. :thumbsup2
