For current members wo add-on through resale (contract with a different use year), are you issued a second membership number for that contract?

Yes, the resale is a separate contract that will have it's own membership number- regardless of the number of points.

We have two contracts, both at the Boardwalk, purchased through resale. We have two different numbers, two different use years but we are linked in the computer. It has not been a problem for booking reservations.

We purchased a resale an OKW resale in 1999 with the same use year as our original 1995 OKW purchase and we were not issued another member number. At least not to our knowledge.

We just added on at HHI and have the same use year as our OKW contract and all are under the same number. We have had no problems, they tell you when you call how many of each points you have.

Different UY require seperate member numbers. We have 2 Dec. UY , BWV and OKW all on the same number. Our June UY BWV is a different number. It does get a little confusing when you give them one number and they don't "see" the other points until you tell them to look for them. A little extra work ,but not unmanageable.:jester:

Are your banking percentages based on the total points owned under both membership numbers combined, or each one individually?

If they are separate contracts, the banking deadlines and percentages are also kept individual.

We own at both HH and OKW and have two different use years. I never found it to be confusing until we just did another add-on last month. We originally had HH points with an April use year. Then we bought a resale at OKW with a March use year...no problem so far. We just added on 50 additional OKW points by resale and they have an April use year. When the new points became available, I called to make reservations for the Food & Wine Festival and didn't know which member number to give them, so I guessed that it would be the OKW number. Actually they are grouped by use year, so the 50 OKW points are added to my HH points. Unfortunately the program that I use to keep track of all of this automatically groups them by resort, so when the CM gave me the total of points that I had remaining, it didn't make any sense to me. It took forever for me to figure it out and I think it is going to continue to confuse me from now on. So I think I'm going to have to go back to keeping track of my points by spreadsheet and stop using this wonderful tracking program.
