Adding on BLT while on cruise...

Hi,

I was wondering of anyone knows if there are additional incentives for adding on while you are on a cruise? We are boarding the Disney Magic on June 13, we own at AKV already.

Don't know exactly for BLT but many times the offers on cruises is slightly better than on land. Your cruise has perfect timing because we are hearing the current incentivs go away on 6-15 so you board while they are going but disembark when the new ones come you.

You will be able to compare and buy whichever offer you like better!!! Pretty cool for you....good luck.

Another suggestion would be to pose your question on the Cruise Board. There are a lot of DVC members on that Board as well who probably can quickly and easily answer your question. Happy cruising!

My mother bought our (I'm on the deed with her) dvc on our cruise last December. We got a shipboard credit for purchasing while on the ship as well as some other perks that you normally wouldn't get on land.

Just got off the Wonder last week and they gave out flyers with the 3 day cruise promo. DVC was everywhere on that trip (giving out lanyards, hats, pins, etc.) so I wouldn't be surprised if they were sweetening the deal further!

If I remember right there was a raffle to win a week with Interval (now RCI) - so not sure if they still do this.

They have also always offered on board credit on each of the four cruises we have taken. I know it has been very, very tempting adding on since they do have great offers (whatever is on land and on-board credit, raffle, etc.).

Listen to the current incentives right before cruising and then decide on the cruise.

The incentives offered last week for BLT add-on 100+ contracts:
$8 off and your choice of:
1) the standard cruise incentive OR
2) Additional money off at
a) 100+ $8
b) 125+ $10
c) 200+ $12

Alternatively, they had a week at a Maui resort at 320 and at 500, select ABD.

Slightly better than on land for some options, but generally the same ($2 better, I believe if you didn't want the cruise). No clue what will come in June (or what the incentives are today), but we heard the same speech that BLT incentives were going away.
