Adding on at BWV through Disney?

Has anyone done this recently? Are there points available? Is anyone on a wait list for points?

What about through re-sale... has anyone put in a request for an "add-on" (say 75 points at BWV) and found what they were looking for?

BWV points through Disney may be available but it could depend on the use year you are looking for. Call your Guide and ask to go on a wait list. As for re-sales, call the major resale brokers and tell them what you are looking for. Few 75 point BWV contracts ever make it to the market. They get scooped up before they ever hit the public. Make sure you are proactive. Call and remind them of your request from time to time. The same goes for calling your Guide.

call your guide and get on the wait list. i called a couple weeks ago to be put on the wait list for 225 BWV points, and got them the next day!! granted, it was my first purchase, so i told them i didn't care what usage month i got. but i was first on the wait list, and was lucky enough to have it go through quickly. and i don't know about smaller contract sizes, but mine ended up being two separate contracts....one for 150, and one for 75, so i'd say it's "doable".

Are the BWV points at the same price/point as the new SSR?

ssr is at $95, and is going to $98 soon. the others are at $89, and going to $92 soon (if they haven't already). just call your guide, and they can help answer a lot of the questions (dates, etc.). i believe if you get on the wait list, you get the current price before the mark-up, but i could be wrong.

My guide told me last week that:

June 8th is the last day for the "old" rates

NO, waitlisting doesn't lock in the "old" rates (darn it) and

There were no BWV points available for Oct UY.

As I understand it, if you put a $500 deposit down with DVC before 6/8 (by giving your CC#) you ARE locked in to the old price. (for new members)

I know you asked about BWV, but I added on a few days ago at VWL. My requested 50 points were available in my same use year (Sept.), so it's possible to add on quickly. Good luck!

I did an add on for 50 at BWV, August use year, back around April and got it in three days.

We added on 50 pts, April use year at BWV last month and were waitlisted only 11 days before they came through.
