Adding Multiple Park Tickets at check-in

In the past I've checked in on a room only reservation and then added park tickets to our room keys at concierge but with all tickets being the same and paid for by me.. I'm going in July with a total of eight in our group. Some want 6 day Park Hoppers, other 4 day, some with Water parks...Can each room key be coded seperately with a different type of ticket and paid for by a seperate source?? Wasn't sure where to post, hope someone can help

Assuming this is a room only reservation, your tickets can be customized with whatever number of days and entitlements each person wants.

There is a sticky over on the Theme Parks board regarding tickets.

The suggestion when making a package, buy 1 day or 2 day tickets (if you need one for free dining, for instance), and then everyone can upgrade their tickets at guest relations when they activate them on their first day.

The above quote is completely, totally incorrect.

Beachbaby, if you have a room-only reservation for this trip, then you can go to the Lobby COncierge and buy whatever tickets you want for each person.

If you're all on the same package reservation, then follow Missytara's advice. Make sure you book the minimum ticket that everybody will use. Then, AFTER checking in, you can upgrade each individual's ticket to that individual's desires. Once you check in, the package is said to be, in Disney-speak, "exploded." Once a package is exploded, there is no longer the rule thhat everyone on the package has to have the same ticket. It is literally exploded, and each ticket is now an independent unit.

So, for example, if some in your party want a 6-day park hopper and some want a 4-day base ticket with Water Park Fun & More, book the package with 4-day base tickets. At any time after checking-in, go to the Lobby Concierge desk and upgrade some of them to 6-day hoppers and add the WPF&M to the others.
