Adding More Ticket Days Upon Checkout. (some questions)

We are checking into Disney tomorrow and are staying five days. We're coming back to Orlando at the end of April (20-25) for a family event. I know you can add more days of tickets upon checkout for a small fee but I don't know if they have to be used within a certain time period.

We have MagicBands that we could add the tickets to or we could have them printed out if that makes a difference.

Does anyone know if this will work?

They have to be used within 14 days of the first use. So you won't be able to do that in your situation.

Correct.
In the past, you could upgrade to "non-expiring" tickets.
That option is no longer available.
