Adding LA/Hollywood tour to DL ressie...

If you add a tour (such as the LA/Hollywood experience Tour) do you have to choose the day of your trip you want to do it on? Like reserve it in advance when you book? How exactly does the tour work? Will they pick you up at a designated location? I'm not seeing a lot of information like how long it lasts, when it leaves, etc. Any info would be appreciated! Thanks so much!

Since two other people were curious, I wanted to share what I found out. Called Disneyland and found out that for this tour (and I'm assuming the others, as well) a voucher will come in the package of information that is sent about 25 days prior to check-in. The voucher will have the information for calling the company and scheduling the date for your tour so that the bus will pick you up at your resort.
