If we are less than 45 days out on our package can we add hopping to our tickets now without incurring a change fee on our package or should I just wait until we check-in to add the changes?

We just called yesterday and were told that we have to do it when we got down there. We don't have a package, just tickets, and they are already in our possession. It may be different for you. We were told it would be $35 per ticket and we could do it only once we got there. Good luck!

Because tickets on a package aren't issued until check in, changes can be made anytime up until you leave.

As to whether or not you'll have to pay the change fee - I BELIEVE, but am not sure, that if your package rate goes up, they waive the change fee.

So I would give it a try now. It'll save you waiting in just one more line when you arrive. :)

SnackyStacky is right, you can add now no charge....they are always willing to upgrade your package without a change fee :cool1:

If you have the "Key to the World" tickets for a Concierge room I would change it now or else it may take a while for them to process and make more, may or may not be a fee. If you have the regular tickets you could add more when you get there, it may cost more though. :confused3

With the exception of the actual difference in cost, there is NEVER a fee to upgrade a ticket - whether the ticket is part of a package or not.

Ticketing is no longer inextricably linked to resort stays. They can now add admission purchased seperately to room keys without a problem. They can also upgrade tickets purchased as part of a package.

Really? I was there last July and we got the "Key to the World" tickets that were the room keys, park tickets, elevator keys to the 4th and 5th floor in the main building, and suprisingly got us in the Imagineering building in Downtown Disney. Possibly the waterparks too but it was raining all day at the time.

I was told by the CM that I booked with, that any changes could be made until 45 days out, after that, any changes that occur that cause a change in price (just said change, not increase or decrease) would result in a 50.00 Charge being added to the total price. :confused3

You can add park hopping at any guest relations location, or your resort front desk after you arrive. It should only cost you the upgrade amount to add hopping if you do it when you are there. If you do it in advance, I'm not sure if they will charge you a "changes" fee or not, but you can change it on your tickets when you arrive.
