Adding/dropping a guest at checkin for ADR

When I first made our ADRs, I included DH. With him we are a party of 3 adults, 1 child.

However, there are days he may still be in meetings and not make it to the ADR (50sPTC and R&C).

Later, I added Supercalifragilistic Breakfast at 1900PF. I made the ADR for 2 adults, 1 child. But, who knows, he may decide to skip the meeting in favor of seeing his princesses meet Mary Poppins.

How will this be handled if we neglect to modify the ADRs before we arrive at the podium. I'd assume since we need a 4-top no matter what, that we *could* drop or add him at arrival for any of these. Is that ok? Or do I need to have the computer correct before we get there to avoid penalties?

Thanks so much.

You should add him ahead of time. It is much better to have an ADR for too many people than for too few. With a reservation for too few guests you always run the risk of the extra person not being seated.

I would add him ahead of time as PP said. Showing up with one less person is never an issue -- you just tell them when you check in.

I just booked a adr for BOG lunch for May 4th sine I couldn't get a reservation for two I booked for one in hopes that they will seat both of us. what are my chances? aren't the tables for one the same size as the two tops?

It also has to do with the capacity of the restaurant. Your chances are good but there is no guarantee. You need to be ready to walk away from your no show fee should they not be able to accommodate you.

The table May accomodate two but be placed in an area that only leaves room for one person. Keep trying to book for two.

You should add him to any ADR that he may want to join you. If he is not on the ADR he may be turned away. DIsney always tries to help, but if they have no room, or are at restaurant capacity, they have no choice but to turn the extra person away.
