How close to departure is it possible to add the dining plan? For example, we have our reservations and tickets and our date to get everything paid off by but if after I pay that off and let's say 2 weeks before we go, I wanted to add the dining plan (aside from having to pay for everything right then) would we be able to? And how close can we do that - could we still do it the day before if we wanted to? It's a point of contention between DH and I currently, whether to add dining or not. And as long as we make a reservation we can pay for it with the dining plan, even if we didn't originally book it that way, correct?

DP can be added up to 3 days prior to arrival. You can pay however you want at the restaurant regardless of how you book.

If you do anything to a package within 2 weeks of arrival there's a $15 fee so you may want to add it before then anyway.

We ended up having to move the entire vacation to June, so we don't have to worry about it for awhile now anyway. But I will make a note of the fee, just in case! Thank you!

I believe that if you are "adding" to your package, the fees will be waived. It's if you're eliminating the dining plan then a fee would be charged.

No, they'll waive the $50 change fee for being within 45 days if you add to the cost of your package. They will not waive the $15 for being within 2 weeks. That is considered a "paperwork fee" and they will charge it no matter what change you make to your package.
