Adding DDP to current reservation

We are going June 16-23 staying on points at OKW. We want to add the DDP to our reservation but not right this minute as payment is due immediately. Is there a cut off date for adding DDP ie 10 days prior to check in date?

Are you using your own points? If so see below from MS. If you are renting points then you will need to contact the person you rented from in case they have a different deadline.

How to Purchase
Visit the Vacation Center to purchase a Disney Dining Plan. Then, select "Travel Plan Details." Under your accommodations details, please select "Add a Dining Plan."

Disney Dining Plans cannot be added at check-in and must be booked at least 48 hours prior to check-in. Payment is due in full at the time of booking.

FYI, you can also call MS and cancel it for a refund 48 hours prior as well. Just in case you change your mind the other way. (Obviously that may not apply if you're renting the points.) You do have to call to cancel, whereas you can only ADD it online.

We are using our own points. Due to a technical error in the system though, we will be unable to purchase on Disneyvacationclub.com and I will have to call member services to book. No worries though.
