Adding an extra day

Hi all!!! We are booked at POP for December 14-21st!!!

I just found out that military gets in free at SeaWorld and was thinking of adding an extra night at the pop in the beginning of the trip to go there. Would you change the trip to leave on the 13th to go to SeaWorld or just keep it the way it is?

Also if you have been to SeaWorld can you do it in a half day? We were wanting to explore some of the hotels and do Downtown Disney in the afternoon/evening the night of the 14th.

I personally think you can do SeaWorld in half a day. There is not as much to do as a Disney Park. I feel like the main attractions are the shows. We are planning on going for 1/2 a day this trip because we have season passes to all of the SeaWorld parks and want to make sure we are getting our money's worth

Depending on what shows or attractions you want to see you possibly could do it in half a day but would not be able to do it all. Some shows don't start til later like shamu. Shamus first show is typically around noon or later. Also the new penguin encounter or wanting to feed the dolphins is something that should be done first thing. To see all the shows you would need a full day. Just the way they space them out and also how long they run. Seaworld really is a full day park. We have AP so if we miss something its no big deal. We went for the holidays last yr and only saw the holiday shows still missed one of them even going for 2 days. Also take a look at the closing times for that day if the park closes at 9 or later they will be doing their christmas shows too.
