Adding Additional People to an ADR?

Our last day at WDW my DS and I have a 7:45pm ADR at California Grill. My best friend from High School, and her DD are arriving that day for their first trip to the world and because of the schedules, dinner is likely the only chance we will have to get together.

I was wondering if it would be likely that I can add 2 extra people to our ADR or if I may have to canel my ADR and try for an ADR for 4.

I did call the dining line a couple of times today but each time was told that their reservation system was being worked on so I would have to call back to have them look into changing the ADR.

What do you think the chances are that I'll be able to add them?

I had to add another guest today on ALL of my ressies because I mistakenly made them all for 2 guests instead of 3.

They did have problems with their computers today, but she told me she would have to cancel existing reservations and make new ones if they were available. I canceled them all myself online because it was faster since their system was messed up, and had to book all new ones.
