Adding a second use year

We just closed on our 4th contract, but the first that is a different UY. I understand all the issues with booking and transferring and such, what I can’t find much info on is how this will get added and used, or not, in our current DVC online account. This one is titled identically as the others, I know it will be a different membership number, but does it show up in our same account in the website? Will we have to log out of one and into the other? Will it just show up, or do I have to manually add it once I get a membership number for it?

Like I said, I get how to use it separately once it’s there. I’m just unsure where “there” is, and how it gets “there”.

It will appear under a different membership when you log into your DVC account. No need to create a new account or switch back & forth between 2 accounts.

Thank you. That was what I suspected, but I wasn’t sure if it was more like setting up our initial contract/online account, or if it was more automated like when we have added on into our current UY. I’m just trying to figure out how they separate them on the DVC dashboard page.

Here's how the dashboard looks (with membership numbers blocked out of course lol). You just choose which membership you want to look at and then it opens to the Vacation Points for that membership.

I would just make sure the title company knows your existing member # to be sure everything is linked as described above. I haven’t heard of anyone having problems but it pays to be careful.
 
Well, we are already closed and Disney notified of the ownership change, so I’m not sure anything can be done in that regard now. I know they asked if we were current members but can’t recall if they asked for our member number, the title company did ask us to make sure all the names were identical to our other contracts. Looking on the comptroller website, all 4 contracts are identical names, letter for letter, I’m cautiously optimistic it won’t be a problem.
 
We haven’t had any big issues. You will get an email (for all owners) with your club ID, but you don’t have to wait for a second email. When you log in to your account, you can swipe between your memberships - and the background changes with the new home resort.
We did have some minor issues. With our second contract (resale, different owners and UY) we had to change our disney accounts password due to suspected hacking. This was right before our new membership was created, prior to email being sent. With our third contract (resale, same owners and UY as contract #2), DH and I both received 3 emails with new club IDs. Only the third club ID was valid. Assume that Disney made a few mistakes and that the first email was for our previous direct AUG UY contract (titled the same but cancelled within 10 days back in 2016) and the second email was for our current direct AUG UY contract that was titled with our adult kids. They finally got it right the third time for our resale DEC UY contract with same owners.
