Adding a day to our MYW tickets?

Will we be able to add a day to our MYW tickets once we get there? We bought 7 day passes because we will be arriving from the West Coast at 5:30 p.m. on a Sunday, and we weren't sure that we would go into the parks that evening...now, I'm thinking that we might want to! That would mean that we would have to add a day to be able to go into the parks on our last day.

Can we add a day? How much will this cost?

TIA!

You can add days and options to your tickets. If you're stying onsite, you'll be able to add to your tickets at the concierge desk in the main lobby. You can also add to them al any gest relations desk in at the parks. I'm not sure how much adding a day would cost you.

Just wanted to add that if you ordered your tickets with a package through WDW you could just call and add a day. If you already have your tickets in hand and just want to upgrade once you get to WDW, then it will cost you about a whopping $2/ticket to do so. I would highly recommend the upgrade if you would be able to spend a few hours in the park your first night. :teeth: Hope you have a great time and your mom has a wonderful 70th b'day! :flower:

You said concierge desk.. Well at ASMo there isnt a concierge desk right? Would there be any way there to upgrade? or would I need to do it at the park one day. My TA ordered the wrong tickets. I figure it would be easier to fix it at the park than deal with it ahead.

Hmm.. just checked my emails and realized that the charged price was the same as the quote yet the confirmation came saying one less day. Do hassel with her over $8??? seems like more trouble than it is worth.

We did purchase a MYW package w/dining...we were just going to wait until we got there to decide if we need to add the day or not. It's good to know that it's not a problem!

We also have one day that we are going to US/IOA and we didn't think we'd want to go into the disney parks--but you never know! :teeth: My poor mom is going to be exhausted after this trip! ;) We are really looking forward to it!

Thanks!

well for our trip we added a 5th day to our myw tickets for a whopping $1/ person.....can you really go wrong ? if anything you couldpurchase the extra days & the no expiration option and make a second trip down more of a possibity!

Are you saying that if you you decide to add on days to your MYW ticket it only costs a few dollars? Did you do this before you made your final payment or when you arrived at WDW?

The reason I am asking is I ordered a 4 day MYW base ticket and now want a 7 day. This is part of a MYW package plus dining, staying at the BC in April. I notified my travel agent, but I have not heard back from her yet. I had assumed I would have to pay whatever the charge is for a 7 day ticket.

Please clarify so I can decide what to do and notify my TA.

Thanks for the info.!

The difference between a 4 day base ticket and a 7 day base ticket is $9 per adult ticket +tax (if the tickets are park hoppers, then it would be a $3 difference per ticket +tax). The difference between a 4 day base ticket and a 7 day non-expiring ticket would be $74 per adult ticket plus tax (neither include park hopping). You can upgrade before you leave, before/after you pay in full, or when you get there. Hope this helps.

The price structure is really in favor of longer stays - each day you add costs less than the last. They're really hoping that we'll spend a few dollars to go to teh park an extra day and spend money on food and souvenirs and such, but it works out well. :) It's worth doing the math to see if a 10-day ticket with no expiration will work for you if you plan on ever coming back, too, though that depends on how many days you'll use now.

:Pinkbounc I was wondering the same thing. I have a 4 day base ticket and wanted to go to us/ioa but wasn't sure if i wanted to do that for 2 days it is good to know that when i get there i can add a day if i wanted to just in case we want to see another park again. Thanks for asking this question!!!! :cool1:

There are Concierge windows at every resort including the All Stars. They were formerly known as Guest Services windows. Concierge CMs can handle most ticket changes, the main exception being anything related to AP/PAP's since those are not available for sale, upgrade, or replacement at the resorts.
