Adding a day to free dining

Has anyone tried to add a day to their free dining reservation? I tried to do it online but was unable to do so.

I would try calling if trying to do it online is giving you problems but there has to be availability first. Adding on a day may not be an option if there isn't any availability left.

I have tried in the past and I believe you have to cancel your original reservation and rebook it.
