Adding a day on a military ticket?

SO and I have the basic 3-day military tickets from our local base.

Is there a way to add one more day while we are in the parks? Will adding a day mean we have to pay the difference between our military ticket and a regular 4 day pass? I'd love just one more day (mainly so we can do a tour and know we won't be rushing).

Are you talking about the Armed Forces Salute 3-day hoppers that are $125? Or the regular discounted 3-day ticket? I'm not sure if you can upgrade the Salute tickets to be honest but I don't see anything on the official site saying that you can't. Either way, if you upgrade at the parks to add another day, you'll have to pay the full price between what you paid and the cost at the parks. You'll lose any discount that you had.

It never hurts to go to the ticket booth and ask....you may get some magic.

I'm still 99% sure that you cannot do this without paying the full difference between the military price ($125) and the 4-day price at the booths.

No you can not add a day with the Salute tickets. You would have to purchase a separate day ticket which is $ 86.00 per adult and $ 80.00 for children ages 3-9. Or upgrade to a regular priced 4 day ticket.

1) but a 1 day 1 park ticket at your base for $81 for adults $79 for children, the 1 day park hoppers are about the same price as a salute ticket.

2) if you have not bought more then 3 salute tickets, you can buy another set and they don't expire until September, even if you use one day of the 3 available.

Regarding the second option, there is a minimum time span between using tickets. I believe it's 14 days, so you can't buy two 3-day tickets and use them back to back.

This requirement (used to be 7 days) was eliminated. You can use them back to back immediately.

Actually, they don't expire until September 28. Unless this changed since last year. We were able to use the 3 days months apart. I would call Disney or your MWR to check.
