Adding 1 to Reservation

We have had all our ADRs for months. I found out last night my daughter's strpson will be coming too. We have res for 6, 4 adults, 1 child and an infant SO....do I try to change them to 7 or just showup with the extra and say I didn't know they included the infant??????

I would call to see if you can make reservations for 7. If you can then make that reservation and then cancel your existing. If you can't then keep your existing reservation and hope that they can accommodate an extra person.

I jokingly asked the CM if we could do this when trying to make an ADR at Coral Reef and she said we'd be turned away. However, I've seen posts from others who have shown up with an extra guest who have been seated. If your trip is far enough away, I'd try to adjust your ADRs. If not, you may want to take your chances with the understanding that you may be turned away from some places.

Hi,

Just returned from WDW and my son had decided to join us on vacation less than a month ago. I was able to change all of the reservations from 2 to 3 but could not change Le Cellier with the Candlelight Processional. Took our chances and he was able to dine with us without a problem on 12/10. What a fabulous meal, my son and I had the filet mignon (the best in WDW in my option) and my husband the strip steak ...and the Candelight Processional was awesome!!!!!

Changing as a walkup will depend on where you are eating, the time of day, and how busy it is at the restaurant. We've had some successes and some failures trying to change at the restaurant podium; some restaurants try to be more accommodating than others. I would call and try to change as many as possible.
