Addicted to Project Mouse style!!!

So I just found all of this stuff and I am hooked. I need some tips from the experts in the know.

Where can I get the photo sleeves? Being in canada I have found a few websites but they want $30+ in shipping. Are they available in stores?

Michaels has their own brand of pocket protectors and the ones I like are by We R Memory Keepers because they have lots of different options and I usually buy the variety pack with 2 ea of 5 different styles. It is a little tricky at first figuring out how to place the pics when the page protectors dictate vertical or horizontal so I have had to crop and work on small 4x6 pallets for some but all in all I LOVE it expecially when I don't want to spend hours on 2 page spreads. I only use the pocket method on the pics that I want to scrapbook but aren't my fav and I get them scrapped much faster that way :) Good luck!

I can always count on my fellow DISers to find such cool stuff.

Off to go down the rabbit hole of Project Mouse!

My plan is to create a digital layout for planning, then once its finalized print them out and have a hard copy. Because the items are smaller there much easier to have printed. I can't find a decent place to print 12x12 so thats what started me hunting for this stuff.

I my see if I can find someone willing to buy them in the US and ship them up if I can't find a suitable solution up here.

Thanks so much for showing this - I was getting overwhelmed with my trip pictures, but this looks doable and so much fun! Can't wait to start! :worship::love:

I've been using them to scrapbook digitally.

They have really cool layouts that you can customize. I'm working on a pocket style scrapbook for my grandma that is just general Disney.

I can't wait to see what they bring out next!

This is awesome! I'm thinking of trying to combine digital and paper scrapbooking. Maybe use some of the kits to make my own paper? I love the idea of digital scrapping, but I prefer the hands on of the paper scrapbooking.

Definitely using project mouse for my upcoming Disneyland trip.
Krista (Sahlin) posted info re: printing out the cards here:

She's doing her DL album in a traditional PL style.

And 'Peppermint' did a Disney PL-style album using a 6x8 Simple Stories Snap album:

I was at Michaels today and they had a box set of Becky Higgins PL page protectors (50 total sheets) 10 sheets of each of 5 different styles for $29.99 and with a 50% off coupon I got 50 page protectors for $15.00...not bad! I am already working on my Project Mouse pics!...mixing them with traditional 12x12 layouts! Planning to scrapbook all this weekend :)

Definitely do! It's great to see everyone's cards :) Speaking of Project Life Disney-style, I saw this today, Traci Reed has a new post where she is showing off her vacation album - created in just 5 days... it looks great.http://tracireed.com/news/2013/03/project-destination-finished-vacation-project-life-album/ Not sure if I could make the change from digi to real-world scrapping (too many little hands trying to help me!) but it looks like a fun way to do a whole album especially with all the tickets etc - scanning them all in can get a tad tiresome :) I think I might include a few "real" pages in my next vacation album... it's good to try & move outside your comfort zone, right?! :surfweb:

Thanks for the link to Traci's blog. I like how she breaks it down into steps for us PL newbies.

Great deal!!
My Mike's still doesn't have BH stuff. Looks like I will have to trek to Rhode Island and hit Hobby Lobby when the kids go back to school. Such a dangerous store!!! LOL

I just got a Canon Selphy printer. Looking forward to using it for PL style pages.

ok, confession time...Hi, my name is Wendy and I am addicted to Project Mouse...lol!!!! I was reading some post last night and saw where Jen had shared the link to Project Mouse. Well, that's all it took for my addiction to begin! I have so many creative ideas in my head that I want to design and I just need to get them down on paper. Of couse I am a traditional scrapper so although I may download some of the free cards to print I will still combine them with all my traditional supplies. I am in the middle of Lindsay's Make a Wish trip from 15months ago and was getting so burned out...now I can't wait to start some of the PM ideas and creations!!!! Thanks Jen for the new found creative juices that are flowing again!

Thanks to this thread I have re-ignited my love for scrapbooking, and am preparing a 6x8 album from simple stories with Project Mouse accents... I got 2 of the bundle packs, and am getting an album ready. I've also been inspired to do 2 albums for my nieces who will be coming on my Feb trip so they can record everything! I am so excited!
