Cost of add-ons

I know that the minimum add-on is 25 points for cash and 50 points for financing. Can anyone tell me how much each of these costs. We were thinking about adding on at SSR. We are new to DVC and are still learning the ins and outs. We own at BVC right now. How does it work when you add on at another resort?

SSR is selling for $89 per point. There is a discount incentive for purchases of 100 or more points ($10 off)

For an add-on of less than 100 points you will pay $89 per point. You are correct, 25 is the minimum and 50 for Disney financing. Cost would be $2225 for 25 points and $4450 for 50 points. They can finance at 9.75% with a direct debit thru your checking account.

If you can swing it, the $10 discount for 100 points is worth considering.

Also, if your current contract for BCV is with Disney, then any add-on you do WITH Disney, will have to have the same use year that you have now.

If your BCV is a February use year, then your purchase at SSR will have to be February also.

Also your will not have an 11 month window for all of your points. It will be 11 and 7 and vice versa. This can be managed by banking and borrowing and alternating your stays.

So if I have this right (someone else jump in if I am wrong), at the 7 month mark you can combine but if you want the 11 month you would need to do as follows: BCV 150 pts SSR 100pts. Borrow from the following year for BCV for a total of 300 this year. Bank for the following year at SSR for a total of 200 next year.

Just as an example and also only if the 11th month is critical.
