I currently own 300 points at resort x....and would like to do an add on at resort Y for the purpose of having the ability to book at the 11 month window. What is the smallest contract of add on points I could purchase?

Is it 25? 50? 75? or could I go lower than 25?

Call your guide. For purchases of less than 150 points, you must purchase the same use year at resort Y as you currently own at resort X. Depending on the resort you want to buy and what use year you need, they may have points available when you call. Otherwise they can put you on a waiting list.

You probably already know this but if you buy 25 points at resort Y then you can use only those 25 points to book at resort Y at the 11-month window. You cannot use points from resort X to book at resort Y at 11 months. You can use your resort X points to book at resort Y or any other resort at 7 months.

With banking and borrowing, you could have 50 points every other year or 75 points every 3 years to book 11 months out at resort Y.

Well that was very helpful information. I did not know that. I thought I could use all my points to book there. Thanks for opening my eyes on that one. Well an Add On does not make any sense for me in this case then. 25 Points would get me 1 night at Resort Y

I almost got tripped on how combining the points too. My guide did a poor job of explaining it to me (or did she?) the first time.
