Add-on wait time

I am on a BWV wait list for an October add-on. My guide tells me that there is no way to check the wait list. I see in another thread that some people are told where they are on the list. Is this usually the case? What is the normal time that people that who have purchased add-ons have waited? I have been on for three months so far and am hoping to hear before July (They extended the old pricing until then). I realize that it will vary depending on use year but what are my chances?

We are 3rd on the OKW list for Sept use yr through DVC, we have been 3rd for 3-4 months now. We went on the list back in January . My guide said it could be 6 days..6 weeks or 6 months, you can never tell. We are also looking for re-sales.
