I was wondering if anybody can help answer a couple questions I have regarding buying points for sold-out resorts through DVC. I have a call into our guide but she is notoriously bad about returning our calls, so I figured I would probably get more info quicker from you folks!
First, since my guide is really bad (I mean, I doubt she will return my call) about calling us, is there a general office I can call that is staffed and can just answer questions about availability with the sold out resorts?
Second, if there is availability for something we want, do you get points for this year only?
I have 3 separate contracts with 3 separate use years. If there is availability for a contract with any one of our 3 use years can we have it?
Do you pay maintenance up front for your purchase?
How fast does it take to close (i.e. book our next stay!!!!)
In what point increments can points be purchased? If they have 100 points available at a resort with our use year, can we just buy 50 of the points?
Can we put the entire purchase on our credit card?
Thanks alot for any help in advance. I really appreciate it. There's nothing like waiting for phone calls from bad sales reps when you have add-on-itis!!!
