We are currently waiting for ROFR on for our first DVC membership.

I have been reading the posts about add on's and I was wondering what Disney charges per point for BCV? What do they require as a minimum points add on, as this is a different resort than our (soon to be, I hope)existing home resort.

I have been to the TSS website, so I know what they charge, just was wondering if through Disney is more expensive.

Add on contracts must be 25 points or larger. I don't know what the current non-SSR price is, but it is more than SSR (with the current promotion.)

Minimum is 50 points if you finance thru Disney.

Also, DVC does not charge closing costs for add-on purchases. That could make a difference when comparing buying direct vs resale. For example, $250 closing costs on a 25 point contract is equivalent to another $10/point.

Thanks for the information about the closing cost, I will definately remember that if we decide to add on to ours, assuming we pass ROFR.

I guess I should worry about passing the first one and closing that contract, before we add on. We have been waiting since 10/2 - so we should have an answer soon

As I wait, I think about the points and how much we would like to travel and I wondered if we have purchased enough points, knowing how we travel. My husband really like F&W festival and I like the Christmas time. So, I told him, if we pass ROFR on VWL, maybe we can get a small contract at BCV for him.

Well we will see!

Does anyone know what a HHI add-on through Disney costs per point? We'd love to add on at HHI and are considering going throught TSS. Thanks!

Disney is currently selling BCV for $95/point. There are no closing costs. You will have to go on a waiting list to get points at BCV. To see how long people are waiting for points at BCV these days, check out the last page of this thread:

disneymagic316, I don't know what Disney currently charges for HHI. In the recent past they were selling HHI points for $5-$10 per point less than the cost of points at BCV, BWV and VWL but I don't know if that's still the case.
