Add-on-itis already????

We just closed earlier this month on a resale BCV (350 pts), have yet to physically step into a DVC resort (going for the first time on the 30th ), but am already thinking of adding-on

We figure we're going to want more points to invite family, etc and wonder if we should jump at these last days for the SS rate??? Do you think they have any "sweet deals" the last days of the promotion??

Should we just wait until the "new DVC" resort comes along and add-on then?

The current price is the best I have ever seen. They probably will not annouce a new DVC until SSR is sold out. Ant new resort will most definitly be higher cost per point. We originally bought 250 points, added on 240 points before making our fisrt trip and now only owning for one year we just bought 180 Vero points. As far as I know there is no cure.

The day I was in the system from my resale purchase I was talking to my guide to get an add-on at SSR.

When I read your post, the first thing that came to mind was, "how often to you plan on taking additional family?" I think it would be a safe statement to say that future promos likely would not be this low again. Unless EP becomes a reality (they might have to put some good deals out there to sell points there) - JMO.

I know I'd like more points, but I'm waiting to see what which future DVC's come up.

I know what you mean, I added on twice before ever setting foot on a DVC property.

I have it bad. Just got credit approval for my first 250 SSR points, and immediately bought 125 at VWL. Now I want to get 50 more SSR before the 1st, and am thinking about 120 at BCV. I must be nuts. I just know that we have always gone 4 to 5 weeks a year on vacation at WDW and have stayed at either moderate or deluxe. So, this is so wonderful having this paid monthly (financed 10 years but will pre pay) without coming up with the large amount of money for the trips. And saving $100 on an AP is great. I want to be able to bring my famiy down - they are young with babies and can't afford it. Just love this DVC!!! Should have done it years ago.
